Our new line is here!
We have two models of the Sea State Touring SUP.
The Sea State 12 Touring and
The Sea State 10.5 Touring.
Both of these boards share similar hull forms from mid deck forward.
The 10.5 T is an traditional displacement hull with a low rocker. It is 10 feet 5 inches overall x 32 inch beam x 5.5 inch thick hull.
The 12 T has some special design characteristics that help it excel in shallow river touring and general flat water paddling. It is 12 feel overall x 32 inches x 5.5 inch thick hull. It has pronounced rocker which allows fin depth control by body position. See video:
The original Sea State 10.5 SUP is now available as custom orders only.
Our new line is getting all of our attention now but this board has its fans.
The 10.5 is:
10 foot 5 inch x 32 inch x4.5 inch fiberglass hull with a wood strip glass / epoxy deck.
The 10.5 |
Most all paddle boards are a very thin skin of glass cloth set in epoxy over a EPS core.
EPS stands for "expanded poly styrene". This is the stuff they make gas station coolers out of.
Give an sup with a eps core a good thump with your finger and you are going to put a divot in it.
EPS boards have a life expectancy of 2-3 years, then it's off to the landfill.
Your Sea State board is built like a boat and will outlast a standard eps board.
Our boards include a handle, fin, pad and a watertight deck storage compartment.
